About Oriental insurance Company Ltd :

Oriental Insurance Company Ltd was established at Bombay on 12th September 1947. The Company was a wholly owned subsidiary of the Oriental Government Security Life Assurance Company Ltd and was formed to carry out General Insurance business. The Company was a subsidiary of Life Insurance Corporation of India from 1956 to 1973 ( till the General Insurance Business was nationalized in the country). In 2003 all shares of our company held by the General Insurance Corporation of India has been transferred to Central Government.

ORIENTAL with its head Office at New Delhi has 30 Regional Offices and nearly 1800+ operating Offices in various cities of the country. The Company has overseas operations in Nepal, Kuwait and Dubai. The Company has a total strength of around 14,000+ employees. From less than a lakh at inception, the Gross Premium went up to Rs.58 crores in 1973 and during 2013-14 the figure stood at a mammoth Rs. 7282.54 crores.

How to Apply for Oriental Insurance Recruitment 2015 :

Interested and Eligible Candidates may apply only through Online Mode Only. No Other mode or mean of application will be accepted.

Step 1 : Candidates need to logon the website : www.orientalinsurance.org.in and Click on “Apply Online” on 27/02/2015.

Step 2 : Then Click on “Click Here for Registration” and enter your details asked in Application.

Step 3 : You wll get your Registration Number and Password Generated by the system which you should note down for future references. You will also get email and sms about your Registration number and password.

Step 4 : If you are unable to complete the application form in one go, you can save the data already entered by choosing “SAVE AND NEXT” tab to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required.

Step 5 : All the information given by the candidate in the application is treated as final and no correction is allowed after the final submission. Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON.

Step 6 : Name of the candidate and his /her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application and should be the same as it appears in the Certificates/ Mark sheets as well as on the photo id. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.

Step 7 : Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the ‘Validate your details’ and ‘Save & Next’ button.

Step 8 : Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature.

Step 9 : Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form.

Step 10 : Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT.

Step 11 : you can modify details, if required, and click on ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.

Step 12 : Click on ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed for payment.

Step 13 : Click on ‘Submit’ button.

Payment of Application Fees:

Payment of Application fees can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets. After Successful payment, an e-receipt will be generated.

Photograph and Signature Specification:

Photograph should be recent passport size color picture with dimensions 200 x 230 pixels and Size of file should be between 20kb-50kb.

Signature should be in Black ink with dimension of 140 x 60p pixels and size should be 10 kb- 20 kb.

The Selection for Administrative Officer (AO) Scale-I post will be made purely on the basis of performance in Online Examination and Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview for the final selection.
